DIAGNOSIS

Current /settings is FVS-shaped, not Oscar-shaped.

Operator-correct: the REVIBE'd FVS Settings module is the substrate pattern ("everything is a card"). That works inside FVS because every surface there IS a card constellation. Oscar is different — settings should look like settings, not like a card grid. Three normal-app patterns to choose from below.

A. Sidebar nav + main panel

Trade-offs

PatternBest forForest Desk fitMobileFits Oscar's existing chrome?
A. Sidebar nav + main panel Many settings sections. Operator scans a left rail, edits on the right. ✓ Cream paper sidebar + white main panel works naturally. Sidebar collapses to top dropdown or accordion. Oscar already has a left rail (the sidebar). A SECOND rail inside /settings = duplication. Need to decide: replace the main sidebar while in /settings, OR put the section nav at the top.
B. Single page + anchors Settings operators use occasionally. They scroll, find the section, change one thing, leave. ✓ Forest Desk naturally scrolls. Anchor chips at top feel native. Anchor bar collapses; sections stack vertically. Works on phones. Doesn't need a second rail. Works inside the existing main column. Cleanest fit.
C. Drawer overlay Settings used without leaving the page. The drawer covers the current view. ✗ Forest Desk's cream paper bg becomes "underneath" the drawer. Loses the warm feel. Drawer becomes full-screen modal. Loses the layered feel. Conflict: Oscar's existing layout is full-page routing. Drawer would be a new pattern.
